WHO AM I, AND WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
Like a great number of folks in my chosen profession, I am passionate about nurturing and protecting families, while helping them succeed personally and financially. I am also passionate about helping owners of small/medium-sized businesses develop their companies and climb the next steps of the success ladder, all the way to a profitable exit and transition to the next life phase.
Yet, when it comes to helping my clients strengthen their personal and business financial strategies, there are certain attributes that help me serve them effectively:
- 40 years of being married to the same wonderful woman and working together on overcoming life’s challenges of raising children, caring for aging parents, managing ups and downs, and preparing for retirement.
- 38 years as a parent to two terrific boys. Despite not being wealthy ourselves, we were able to raise them as successful young men, provide quality education, and global travel experiences. I now help clients work toward protecting their families financially, as they build their own family lives.
- 35 years of international business experience. I started, ran, and exited my own international business. I also advised business owners in multiple countries on business development, exits, risk mitigation, and financing needs. (I even wrote a book sharing my experiences, mistakes, and triumphs). Now I give back by serving as a Volunteer Mentor for SBA’s SCORE and fundraising for those with cancer through Alex’s Lemonade Stand and ACS.
- As grandparents to three wonderful toddlers, my wife and I have been laser-focused on finding ways to use limited resources to help our children supplement our grandkids’ financial future.
- Strong educational credentials supplement my business experiences well. Among them is, MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. BS from the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU and numerous professional courses.
- My hobbies are tennis, photography, swimming, international travel, reading, fountain pen collecting, and half-hull ship modeling. They help me manage stress, better understand my clients, and remain an interesting, well-rounded person.
